Room Select Sol - Madrid

The location was a bustling delight near attractions.

Location in the heart of the city was a plus. The staff was really friendly and supper friendly, everything was perfect. The room was nicely decorated and decent sized with a shower, hair dryers and bath sheets in the private bathroom.

The air conditioning was locked and ineffective through my entire stay. Despite multiple requests, I received minimal help from the staff. I also felt the room was poorly maintained and had an uncomfortable layout.

The location was unbeatable, close to Main Square. The hotel itself was in a very very nice area, just off the royal palace, churros place, plaza mayor and puerta del sol and Madrid city centre.

The tastefully decorated and great modern room with good facilities. Excellent and particularly good location, close to bars and cafes.

A rollercoaster of pros and cons

Absolutely loved the location! So central, I walked everywhere! The staff were accommodating, even helping me find the perfect store for a wedding outfit!

The bathroom design left much to be desired, with insufficient privacy and water often leaking onto the floor-definitely a concern for cleanliness!

Great Stay in Central Madrid!

Enjoyed our stay with close proximity to attractions and the convenience of local eateries. Found the room practical for our needs, though on the smaller side. Be prepared for limited storage. Make sure to bring your own hangers! Great WiFi helped with our planning.

The location stands out. Close to Palacio Réal and Plaza Mayor. The room felt spacious and had a cozy design that included great soundproofing, which helped for a peaceful night. Wi-Fi connection was fantastic, I could work easily . The staff also offered an upgrade at no extra charge, a pleasant surprise. The bathroom layout wasn't ideal-felt slightly cramped, especially the shower. I noticed water leakage from the shower door, so that was a bit of a hassle. Other guests might find it a little less appealing if they need more space. I also missed having a designated area to store valuables.

I stayed in a Single Room for one night. The location was unbeatable, just a stroll from major sights. The room was clean with a comfy bed. The AC worked great, keeping the space cool, and I loved the clever use of the room layout. Didn't mind that it was a bit basic. It felt cozy enough for a solo traveler.

Our previous visits to madrid weren't as great as this time. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the opera metro station and major attractions like the palacio real.

Group friendly location!

The staff was super helpful! Like when I needed a taxi at dawn, they arranged it in no time. They had a cafe on the ground floor, perfect for grabbing coffee & pastries before heading out.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but price felt reasonable for what you get.
